Is Perfectionism Really Good?
Researchers recruited 200 n 79 college students and had the complete a range of stionairs on various aspects of their lives. They were asked to respond to questions like, my goal at school is to be very productive. The students who scored high on excellence and low on perfectionism had significantly higher scores on the test of createve potential. And just ot of curiosity, how did the students who were low and both excellencism and perfectionism do well? Their performance was basically the same as the perfectionists.
