The Outlining Technique
A series of short stories about marco polo and kublai khan. Each one is just a really small, self contained description of a new place. An oral tradition that we've all at some point taken part in as a kid has tried to tell us about this thing that they love. And the more familiar you are with story structures, the better you become at sitting around the table with other people telling stories.
