Hybrid Publishers vs Self Publishing

i've never leveraged a hybrid publisher or a hybrid type of arrangement before, so its, this is new to me. I'm trying to differentiate between, what exactly do you get from the brid publisher versus self publishing? And i would be happy to learn to get better at bookselling, write or book ing, but i don't need to learn how to publish a book. So it no longer made sense, from a cost benefit perspective, for me to learnHow to hire a proof reader, how to hire a graphic designer, write. Got it? That makes a lot of sense.
