The Importance of Deep Sedation
Fentanyl imidazolam and propofol used to be standard for retrievals. Today what's more common is deeper sedation with propofol administered by anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist. At Long War, a fertility nurse gave the drugs, and there was a limit to how much they were allowed to administer.
