A lot of these are fairly core core bits of vocabulary. A big thing is like a huge number of languages just borrowed it. So again, lots of interesting polysem is focused on the Sino Tibetan region. And that's really important to think about. Sometimes polysemies only show up in compounds or derivations. And not in just how the word is used in day to day life.
