Erlang and Elixir folks are very friendly towards each other, working together for OCP improvements. I spent about five years working at NPM Inc., which is the former company that owned the NPM ecosystem,. And I was the lead developer on the NPM CLI for two to three years. He left NPM when they were kind of like imploding startups or want to do. They just got acquired by Microsoft a few months later.
