Sally Kohn: I was always in the setting where I was exposed to important questions of medicine and started to think about what technologies would be ripe for them. She says she's had a lot of great conversations with Alex and other people about what problems in biology could be most addressed with the tools of data science. Kohn: The idea that an image of a cell, let alone a fiber blast, could actually show the hallmarks of psychiatric disease is really kind of amazing to me. And after this discussion, I did a little bit of reading on Ann Carpenter, who does feature learning.
