What Is an Intention?

I think we should actually hang on to a notion of intentions. We can't talk about intentions as discrete mental entities, these discrete psychological entities which have representational content. There's something about the action itself that brings to light or makes manifest or actualizes the intention. So yes, that's what I've been working on. I think it's reconcilable with Deleuze's philosophy of events. And I think it can solve well, hopefully, at least addresses some problems in contemporary Anglo-American philosophy of action.
