How to Be a Successful Designer

I find that an interesting point because even if you have great interface design skills, if most of your work is at large companies where they use a design system and you don't get much chance to exercise your own personal taste. It reminds me of another tweet I saw where someone said that only the highest level designers at Apple are allowed to design something that looks or feels new compared to the rest of Apple's stuff. But yeah, actually you could get one of the highest paid design jobs in the world and then not really be allowed to exercise those muscles. You're following the prescribed taste of someone else who likely has better taste than you do.
