The visibility on the tarmac was lousy and was going to stay that way. Through the windows of the plane, Sam didn't see much but fog and indistinct lights. She'd liked him as a little kid because he'd always had an endless supply of funky toys in his office. A goofy, chubby, fun uncle was Matty Snyder, who was a widower since 2010.
