So you buy a laundromat deck as a front and a plot of land to build your little factory for growing wheat. You basically start, you hire people; you need to design their schedule and give them tasks. Well, also your research is done. There are local businesses where if you give them free product, you get, uh, points toward, uh, towards research to unlock new stuff.
