Mojo was a research project, but the ideas went on to have influence in other systems like PyTorch. So I'm very happy with the fact that we built a lot of really cool technology. But there's major differences between what Mojo is doing and what Julia is doing. And so if you've worked backwards from the goal of let's build something for Python programmers without requiring them to relearn syntax then Julia just isn't there.
