Is Gitflow a Good DevOps Tool?
Gitflow has a tendency to like built into it is that long running branches, you have always the development branch and then the release branch. I would just say, actually make it like discuss as a team, come up with a branching and merging scheme, and then follow it. Don't just allow every engineer to choose their own way. Like really invest a little bit of time and come up with an actual process and follow it as a team. If it's not working for you, have another discussion and improve it. But don't let it be a wild, wild west out there.
