The experience you had of feeling completely seen and understood and loved was in part manufactured by that other person as a means to control you. You fell in love with it, let's call him or her a robot. And the reason that you were vulnerable to them is you were something in your life has made you weakened perhaps maybe you've been through some hard experiences recently or you don't know it but you have some invisible hooks,. Some invisible voids in your person that point to a lack of confidence, a lack of self love. This might be completely unseen to you. It was to me I had no idea I had low self worth because in my mind I'm totally confident I love myself
