The Importance of Amendments
Donnie's family would not accept his amends. His brother and sister, they don't want to hear his amends because they feel terrible that he suffered. And there's even, you know, to take it even further, he at one point goes to a store where he and his friends stole a bunch of flowers. The attendant who was supposed to take the money for flowers was probably on a cigarette break or something. So yeah, it's true that, but he,. you know, his realest life is with another person who's also suffering from a similar compulsion.
