The Importance of Goalkeepers in Football

I think maybe there is a tendency to overrate goalkeepers who are good with their feet because one, it's rare and two, those goalkeepers are going to suit better teams so they're going to become more valuable. There's definitely a whole host of different forms of analysis that you can use to determine whether or not a goalkeeper is good or not. And I think because goalkeeping does feel to a lot of us like a completely different sport, we do shy away from it. But yeah, I think goalkeepers I think are becoming super important in football.
