What Is the Problem With Slavery?
Slavery is a double bind inin the idea of slavery, especially like a proper relationship. Just because you have the favor of your master doesn't mean you're not also a slave. I think that's the best way to understand why it continues to kind of exist in the ancient world. The destination is the reason for your journey, and the journey provides the transformation necessary to acquire the nation. Is this at odds with the christian story, where the escaton is the whole point of the story? Thank you Mery.
