The Second Great Obligation Is to Love Each Other
The covenant is god wanted us to have a closer relationship with him. That means he has to change us to be like him. And that's exaltation. If we're going to make a difference in the world, we have to be willing to be a little different from the world. The joy and peace and contentment that comes from being more like god brings with it automatically joy and peace and contentment.
