The Fear of Self-Meditation in the Healthcare Industry

Nearly half 46% of physicians in the US reported consuming alcohol or using a controlled substance up to 12 hours before their shift. One in seven about 14% admitted to consuming alcohol and/or drugs while at work. There's an indoctrination that takes place in the healthcare industry, do no harm, put the others first,. So then when we're called to say what happens when you need help? I mean, a lot of healthcare professionals are just not really good patients in general, including myself.
