S2 Episode 6 - "Nothing To Lose"
Blowback
The Man, Colonel Edward Lansdale
Lansdale was compared more frequently to a non-American James Bond, including by JFK himself. The sensitive and suave face of American Empire, he was credited as the brainiac behind suppressing the Huck rebellion in the Philippines years earlier. Lansdale had basically worked directly for Alan Delis, quote, outside the CIA chain of command. This earned him a sort of teachers pet status and special emity from other agents and officers.
