"It's difficult to have a climate change discussion, in my opinion, and not be very pro nuclear if you believe in energy independence. I think nuclear is another avenue that needs to be considered," he said. "What i don't want to see is solar and wind being implemented with tremendous subsidies and taxpayer expenditures."
