The way that live shows work is that usually the band or bands make most of the money from the door. Most don't help bands nearly as much as they did with COVID. Costs have skyrocketed and pay has gone way down. And then there is the reselling. That had a disastrous launch because of Ticketmaster. All these resellers have these fucking bots that go in and just buy up like 50 tickets to shows. This isn't just happening with Taylor Swift shows. This is happening to small venues.
