The strongest motivations for rejecting consequentialism and endorsing a non-consequentialist or deotological approach to ethics derived from just having intuitions about particular casesso. One very well known case that some of your listeners might already be familiar with is the so called transplant case, which i believe was originally devised by judith thompson. It allows us to do certain things that are, in fact, wrong, because it apparently mistakenly claims that the ends always justify the means.
