The Importance of Taking Control of Emotions

Every human will at some point have emotional leakage or offloading that will come out oftentimes in opportune times. We are actually putting ourselves back in the driver's seats by using tools like you said about affect labeling to address that emotionality. The second thing is that if we keep on suppressing our emotions, that doesn't mean that we're good at it. It's a recipe for derailment, going off track, not having the impact we could have if we were at our best.
