If the Lakers are winning games, there's not going to be that same urgency that can lead to desperation. If they go through a four game losing streak, these role players start looking really shaky really fast. And so I don't think they're really in a position to be super choosy to be honest. Like LeBron is on a pretty finite timeline. But if you have LeBron and AD, like maybe that's not the type of star you put your chips in for.
