Have You Ever Been on a Houseboat?

I've been on a few boats, I would call them barges, which were just for pleasure. They were pleasure boats, but nobody actually lived on them. In the UK there are a few people who live on boats in canals or maybe even in a marina. And so I guess you could say they live in a houseboat. Have you ever spent a night on one? I haven't, but it does seem quite nice to me. I think I'd love to maybe rent a houseboat for maybe a week and travel along the canals in France or somewhere, or the UK.
