obsidian really excels at is not only being omnivorous about different kinds of stuff but also extensible. There's innumerable ways to leverage thing we keep talking about do by friday the numerous ways to leverage all of those tiny text files into something that tells you something about who you are and how you work. What obsidian provides you with our tons and tons and tons of really cool i think really cool features including publishing they go way above and beyond what you would be able to do with just a regular text editor.
