The Importance of Sodium Absorption in Diabetics
If you have sustained elevated levels of glucose within your bloodstream. That means that you're going to have a huge amount of glucose that's been filtered. So all of it gets filtered, but all of it get reabsorbed. You shouldn't be able to have any traces in your urine. Technically. But if you're a diabetic, which means again, which means you have sustained Elevated Levels of Glucose (EGL) In the body there are only enough transport molecules there to transport the glucose back into the body - they're saturated. The glucose that's left over remains in the filtrate because no other part of the nephron reabsorbs glucose comes out
