The Artwork of Stalin's 'Spitz Fund'

It was exhibited as part of the Ukrainian section within their Soviet pavilion at the bianale in 1930 and it was extremely well received. They then toured this work to switzerland and then to japan so it left ukraine in 1930 and i think it kind of was touring the world for a couple of years after that. In early 30s mid 30s  the political situation was becoming much more difficult for artists because you know Stalin was making his grip on everything. It wasn't until after Stalin's death that some of this artwork come up and started to come back to the museum.
