The Impact of the Fire on London

There are three main plans that were put forward by Christopher Wren, John Evelyn and Robert Hook. They're beautiful cities but never going to work because London is a city of landlords and tenants. There's no one person that owns the city. Lots of people own very small parts of it. And often those parts overlap and there are weird leases. So yes, those dreams never come true. But this kind of utopian Wren city is still alive in people's imaginations, I think.
