Introduction

This is the second elizabethan age from tortoise. In this series, i'm charting the reign of queen elizabeth and her changing relationships with the institutions and people of the united kingdom. The one constant in all our lives for the past 70 years has been the queen. I'll be looking at how the queen related to her prime ministers, how her relationship with the mediar evolved and how she was seen abroad.
