Is There a Sustainable Ecosystem?
David Frum: Grass perennial grass, in the vast majority of the world's land is the most sustainable thing to grow. But human beings can't digest grass so we need to make it into something that we can eat through urban wars. He says milk is by far more productive than meat and once you've got what you want then there are fewer calories left on the table.
