The Purpose of Obscurantism
I like what he's calling obscurantism. He's saying there is a truth in these complicated words that could be said more clearly. To me, this is a complete misunderstanding of truth. It's not produced in the process of language that it's outside, and language represents it. So- The truth is for you to accuse Derrida or Dilism Gatori of something like that. But then we're also ascribing the tension of intention to text and performance. I think Foucault made himself intentionally weirder than he needed to be. You shouldn't listen to a YouTuber on anything.
