The Federal Government Taxes Are 18% of GDP
If you do the math, how much the federal government taxes as a fraction of GDP. The answer that we've come to in this country appears to be 18% of GDP. That's what the minimalist state costs here in the United States. If we could do that for four percent, I don't see any reason why we can't do everything we should be doing for 10.
