The Relationship Between Civil Liberties and Economic Stability
There is seen to be a broad connection between the presence of civil liberties and economic health in a general sense. This is quite remarkable because broadly speaking again in the contemporary period, economic thinking has tended to move right words. But it is experience that has taught the right-wing economists that it is good to have a free press. It's far outweighed by its acting as a watchdog, as a check on crony capitalism.
