I discussed this on Twitter relatively recently, and a lot of people of a similar age came out as secret major fans. What do you think the appeal was? Because generally speaking, children like colorful things, don't they? And of all the many characteristics you could say John Major has, colorful really isn't one of them. So maybe... I mean, it's just like he's a bit like your grandad. Yeah, maybe he just had a kind of grandfatherly vibe.
