The Fear of Rabies

Rabies is really scary and it's frightening to me. And I am afraid of it at all times. Why do they not give everybody the rabies vaccine? Like you would chickenpox. If animals have a vaccination for it, why not just vaccinate everybody against rabies? You think that's the idea, but why not humans? Are humans not deserving to be protected from rabies as well? Well, they are, but I think animals are more likely to spread it. It says there are something like eight to 10 people known to have survived rabies without receiving vaccine or immune globulin.
