Introduction

PQ Doc on call focuses on interesting PQ cases and management in the acute care pediatric setting. A 16 year old female with history of lupus was transferred to the PQ due to hypoxia requiring increasing FiO2. Initial chest x-ray showed worsening by basilar, alveolar and interstitial airspace disease concerning for pulmonary hemorrhage. The patient was emergently intubated for respiratory failure using ketamine, fentanyl and rockuronium.
