Sudanese civil society organizations, their own local aid agencies are showing courage and commitment. They're still there despite the fact that the violence is so random and so rampant. Many people are pinned down in their homes. Martin Griffiths being the UN's top aid official flew into Port Sudan to see for himself what it was like on the ground.
