Calvinism: A View of the Pervasive Sovereignty of God

Calvinism is a way of reading scripture that recognizes the pervasive sovereignty of God over all of life. It's largely a view of the nature and the character of God and His ways in the world, his ways in our experience. The defining issue is if you ask people, how and why did you come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? How they answer that question will be indicative of where they stand on the issue of Calvinism.
