How to Avoid DNS Lookups

Take a look at your ISP's terms of service. If it's not spelled out in very big, clear, bold letters, they're probably using your DNS data. They could be building a profile of you, looking at the websites you're browsing. One option is to use a DNS resolver that you can run yourself instead of sending your DNS queries to someone else. You have the ability to send out queries all over the Internet to all the various authoritative servers.
