The Mature Understanding of the Manduka Makes Religion Real

Without this knowledge, without this philosophical, rational foundation for religion, religion just becomes a tissue of beliefs. The mature understanding is that this teaching gives us does not falsify religion. It explains religion. For the first time, religion becomes real. An immature reaction is contempt - i immediately begin to see all other teachings, philosophies, religions, as lower. I know it's for stupid people. That's immature. But they'llv people at different levels in different ways of understanding. They are helped by different teachings. All teachings are valid at their level, and they're all helpful. And so there they'll be helpful to everybody.
