The number one skill of the boss, I think, is to be conflict ready. That was always the reason why I would remove someone as a manager if they didn't take the conflict. Maybe you should write a book about that. Well, but it's tricky though, right? Because like, in Silicon Valley culture, there is a lot of passive aggressiveness.
