General Purpose Graphics for Replic
We have this tradition of starting a lot of conch work projects, sometimes competing projects. We wanted to add general purpose graphics to Replic. One way we could have done it is that there's no graphics, everything writes to the terminal. But we found that old terminal feature called 6L allows you to draw images into the terminal. So we decided to build a general purpose graphics system based on 6L. The last approach that actually worked is sort of underwhelming giving the meandering that we did, but it works.
