The world that I spend most of my time in is not safe and therefore should be pushed off shore. We're assuming that the old playbooks still apply because we haven't yet got our heads around that this is a very, very different market. What's safe? What does that mean? Then you step back and you look at crypto assets such as Bitcoin. Definitely not safe, right? But easy to verify, easy to store, seizure resistant. The ultimate safe asset. Gold is gold. And we've been working with gold now for thousands of years but we don't necessarily know that the gold we hold is real.
