The Church Is the Place of Power Differentials

When that happened in 2016, that was a watershed moment for me as well. I'm like, the church is the place of power differentials. This was driving the abuse and oppression of women. So are we, am I surprised that the church is rife with sexual assault? No. Am I,. am I surprised when that young guy who was raised in the Baptist tradition killed and murdered women that he viewed as a temptation? Yeah. And yeah, it's something that we need to talk about and something we need to confront.
