The Tree of Nebuchadnezzar

God declares that at the end, i myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. Similar language is also found in the book of daniel in reference to nebuchadnezzar. The tree is a symbol of a powerful empire, a ruler, one that provides refuge and strength for others. It isn't great by nature. It has the smallest seed of all. But yet, what jesus is saying is that it is tree. It's a great tree, great among all the other trees. And it is actually the central tree.
