The European Space Agency and the European Commission
In Europe we have a European Space Agency which is an intergovernmental organisation composed of several countries based in Europe plus some associate states. And then in Europe there's also the European Union of course and the European Commission with a mandate on space. So this creates a sort of complex environment as you can imagine because these are two separate organisations with different mandate, scope and so on. But they're still driven by the same sort of broader interests and objectives.
