Rock Mononoff's Expensive Mode

Rock Mononoff was not always so interested in tying his music together throughout a piece, but in this concerto it's almost the end goal. He then transforms the second theme before we've even really had a chance to understand it. As the theme expands and expands, another rhythm makes its return. Listen closely to the clarinet part.
