Solace-Dalgia: A Feeling of Homelessness Without Leaving Home
Daniel represents the Augiek People who are indigenous to the Malforest in the Rift Valley of Kenya. When you tell an Augiek that your forest has been destroyed they feel that emptiness, that kind of like you have been isolated from your own status of life where your spirituality has been interfered. So for a community which are dependent on forest seeing the destruction and in this case you feel like you are nobody again. Most of them will be referring to places that they have had in their lives for decades as points of reference but now things have changed.
